• Adjust the AI core temperature, which determines how creative the model is. Setting it at a lower figure will create a more realistic chat, while higher settings allow for more fantastical scenarios.
• Changing the AI core frequency penalty, which controls how much weight it gives to its memories. Higher settings prioritize new information while lower ones focus on what you wrote in the character description
• Adjusting the AI core presence penalty to determine how on-topic the conversation is.

This has a lot more customization options than other platforms offer. However, with so many choices available,  you will need to be prepared to put in the time to fine-tune your models. Because of this, the character generation process often feels clunky, especially when compared to the more streamlined and straightforward options available on other AI girlfriend sites.

Also, unlike some other models, there is no way of getting your companion to regenerate their response. Be prepared to spend some time adjusting your personality prompt to get your character to talk the way you want.

Another issue was how generic the responses felt. I felt the onus was on me to keep driving the conversation forward. This also affected the NSFW portion of the chat. As a result, it felt like I was talking to a robotic chatbot, rather than a real person. On a more positive note, though, my companion did remember and reference the events I had entered into her memory.

However, these are minor issues compared to the technical issues I experienced. At times, it felt like my companion’s memory had been wiped, and the entire conversation hadn’t happened. According to user reviews, this can happen occasionally. Because of this, I would think twice before engaging in a complex roleplay. But for short, casual chats and basic NSFW interactions, the Muah AI chat should be fine.

Muah AI Voice Chats

This platform makes voice generation very simple. You can turn each chat into a voice message with the click of a button. In a few seconds, your voice chat will be ready. Just be aware that the whole message will be read out, including the action that their character is performing.

Overall, I was very impressed by the quality of the voice chats this platform offers. The voice is extremely realistic. However, it doesn’t have a lot of emotional depth. I was also impressed by the wide range of voices available. There are over 20 to choose from. You can even use prominent figures like Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

Live Phone Calls and SMS

You can send your companion an SMS and get a reply. You can even call them and have a live phone conversation. I was very surprised to see this feature, as they are one of the only platforms that provide this experience. It adds a new level of immersion to your virtual relationship.

The live calls have a long lag, as it takes a few seconds to formulate its reply. But when the voice does come, it sounds very realistic. However, like the chat function, the responses can be a little generic. Another potential issue is that this function is only available to US users at the moment. Though you might be able to get around this limitation by using a VPN.

ChatGPT Integration

One of the most interesting aspects of Muah is its integration of a wide range of AI models into the platform. For example, you can get your companion to use ChatGPT to formulate their responses. There are a few models that you can use, including:

This is just another example of how easy it is to customize your Muah AI generator. Some of the models will be better at SFW conversations and thrive at getting to know you on a deeper level. I was very impressed with the images I received. They were realistic and matched the character’s personality.

This platform also offers a fun feature called X-ray mode, which allows you to see through the model’s clothing. However, unlike other platforms, there is no gallery to save your AI-generated images. So, if you like the results, it’s best to take a screenshot before you close the chat.

If you want to convert a photo into a video, you will have to click on the image, then go to “Create Video”. Again, you’ll have to enter a prompt describing the action you want the character to take in the video. I thought the videos were OK. They were clearly AI-generated, and the movements looked a little unnatural. Plus, they are quite short, with most lasting for around two seconds.
